The youth of today will define the Europe of tomorrow. Thus, in the symbolic historical setting of the Sorbonne university—founded to champion learning, and the arts and sciences—150 youth aged 6-18 will read from literary works by European writers who marked the passage from one century to the next. Joining them in support of European values from far and wide, a host of prominent artists and entertainers will take part with readings of their own, interspersed between those of this younger generation.
