Part of the Chantiers d’Europe programme 2019.
“Bearing in mind not only the stakes of the upcoming European elections, but also the importance of inter-generational ties as a key basis for any form of change, I assembled 10 young amateur actors from inner-city suburbs (5 young women and 5 young men, aged 16 to 23); 10 students from Science Po (who had just turned 20); and 10 professional actors, who are all friends and staunch defenders of culture, in a mutual exchange to build bridges between their individual (and ostensibly dissimilar) experiences, and the themes of justice, love, and commitment explored in Albert Camus’ play “The Just Assassins”. This wonderful troupe, which solidified into a real company during Homeric workshops held at Cap à Aulnay-sous-Bois, offers you the chance to preview their work-in-progress on this Camus play, which is just celebrating its seventieth anniversary.”
